Part of enjoying your retirement is the peace of mind of knowing that if any health issues pop up, they are easily taken care of. At Beauty Point Retirement Village Sydney, care can be gradually increased, but still be unobtrusive, so residents don’t have to move to a nursing home if their needs increase. At Beauty Point, we aim to keep people fit, healthy and happy so they can stay independent for longer. Every staff member is committed to ensuring residents’ independence in the long term, so anything we can do to help maintain this, we will do. This includes organising physiotherapy or an occupational therapist, seminars on the latest health research, fitness programs and tips, a monthly visit from specialists, plus three on-site doctors and an on-site emergency response team. |

Our free gym is open from 5am to 10pm and is equipped with the latest cardio equipment, including a treadmill and stationary bicycle. We also have free weights and other gym equipment to help residents maintain their long-term fitness, which is key to staying healthy and independent. Residents also have access to a qualified personal trainer to help with fitness sessions and programs. |

Our indoor, heated pool and spa are always open to residents and their guests. Maintained and cleaned by our staff, the pool is kept at the perfect temperature all year round and is a great way to keep fit, relax and unwind, or have fun with the grandkids. Beauty Point also has free aqua aerobics classes weekly. |

Beauty Point is a self-care village that also offers a high level of health care to our residents.Our friendly, fully trained medical staff are onsite 24 hours a day to take care of any and all health problems and questions. Best of all, there’s no charge to see our medical staff, as it’s a part of our 100% commitment to residents’ wellbeing. Our medical staff also organise visiting specialists, referrals and prescriptions, health and fitness seminars, flu vaccinations, a doctor’s surgery and more. |

It is the first few minutes after a serious health emergency that makes all the difference to your eventual recovery. With this is mind, we are the only retirement village in Sydney to offer an on-site emergency medical response team. In the unlikely event of a serious emergency, each unit is equipped with an emergency response call button. When pressed, our on-site medical team are guaranteed to be at that unit within four minutes, with our average being just two minutes. Our emergency medical team sleep on-site, so your call never goes to a call centre. |

Health Services At Beauty Point, we bring all the important health services directly to our residents, so you can spend more time relaxing in the resort instead of travelling to medical appointments. We offer residents access to visiting remedial masseuses, optometrists, podiatrists and dentists. We also organise annual flu vaccinations, prescriptions and quarterly hearing aid specialists. We have an exclusive medication analysis service, and see below for twice-daily pharmacy deliveries to your door. |

Doctor's Surgery Our trained medical staff are happy to handle all residents’ health needs, but we also provide an on-site doctor’s surgery. Our doctor’s surgery is open every second Saturday to all residents. Best of all, it is a Bulk Billing service, so going to the doctor doesn’t cost a fortune. |

Pharmacy Delivery At Beauty Point, we organise the delivery of your pharmaceuticals to your door twice a day, every day, for no extra cost, so you don’t have to spend all your time at the chemist and can just relax, unwind and enjoy the resort. This, combined with our medication analysis service, means you get the right treatment at the right time, to ensure your long-term health. |
